The Z14I features multiple interface types with numerous add-ons, including two Thunderbolt™ 4 ports, two RJ-45 ports, two RS-232 serial ports, an ExpressCard 54, and two SIM cards (one Nano SIM slot and one eSIM). Moreover, the USB options offer all the capabilities of USB 3.2 Gen2 to USB 2.0. Z14I provides the end user with advanced security features and multi-factor authentication options, such as a fingerprint scanner, smart card reader, optional Windows Hello webcam, and RFID/NFC reader.

The Z14I can have two physical, removable, quick-release NVMe PCIe SSDs. The laptop's design lets you replace SSDs in the field in seconds by hand without using any tools. In addition, the fully rugged Z14I has a media bay for multiple installation options, such as an optical storage drive, a second battery, or a third storage drive.

Unlimited Customization Options

Using the expansion box, the Z14I turns into a mobile server. A PCIe expansion box has two slots that can be used to install and operate a wide range of hardware and peripherals, such as dedicated graphic cards, military connectors, and RAID 0/1/5/10 options in terms of information security. The box is easily installed, even in the field, and thus constitutes an excellent functional tool and a highly efficient solution for specific needs.
