Overview

Z14I Rugged Laptop has been built to withstand even the harshest of environments. Its IP65 rating, protecting against dust and water ingress, MIL-STD 810H certification and resistance up to six feet drop make the Z14I more rugged than other comparable devices on the market. The device has also been tested for explosive atmosphere, solar radiation, salt fog, and fungus resistance, which goes beyond testing standards compared to other rugged devices in its class.

The Z14I includes Durabook’s proprietary DynaVue® technology and high-definition multi-touch screen, offering the highest contrast ratio, which helps to eliminate internal reflections that enhance viewing clarity even from different angles, and in bright sunshine or low light conditions.

Enhanced Performance

Z14I is equipped with Intel® 11th generation CPU featuring an Iris® Xe graphics processor, and performance is enhanced to cater to congested data processing. With an ultra high-speed data transmitting capability of Intel® Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth® V5.2, all data can be instantly synchronized and fed back to the data center without interruptions.

With invincible mechanical design and rigorous component selection, the Z14I can adapt to any environment flawlessly. It is MIL-STD-810H certified with additional items such as explosive atmosphere, solar radiation, salt fog, and fungus resistance; it is also approved for IP 65 and a 6 feet drop guarantee. What’s more, Z14I has MIL-STD-461G and ANSI-C1D2 certifications, making it more rugged than ever.

Comprehensively Customised

Z14I rugged laptop offers different types of interfaces with various selections of add-ons, which include Thunderbolt™ 4, two RJ-45 ports, two RS-232 serial ports, ExpressCard 54, or PCMCIA Type II slot. In addition, USB options offer all capabilities of Type-C to Type-A or USB 3.2 Gen2 to USB 2.0. Our flexible customization package can cater to specific needs upon purchase for some customers.

Viewing at its Best

The 14-inch Full HD 1080p widescreen display with DynaVue® technology reveals every detail of a visual image at a glance. Z14I has a brightness of up to 1000 nits, and the light-filtering technology makes the Z14I the best-rugged laptop with the highest contrast ratio (CR), which helps eliminate internal reflections that enhance viewing clarity when viewed at different angles.

Optimized Touch Technology

The 10-point capacitive multi-touch panel has four touch modes (Glove, Stylus, Water, Finger). Z14I is optimized for applications of both indoor and outdoor usage, enhancing the device’s usability regardless of work conditions.

Storage Revolution

Z14I is equipped with the latest NVMe PCIe SSD technology, providing up to 1TB of storage, while its PCIe offers a speed 4x faster than SATA III. It can accommodate two more internal SATA III SSD drives to maximize onboard storage. In addition, the Z14I device provides a media bay for several setup options, such as an optical disk drive, a second battery, or a third SATA III SSD storage.

Endless Customization Possibilities

The Expansion Box is one of the most powerful enhancement capabilities of the Z14I. From a workstation to a portable server, the Expansion Box provides two slots of PCIe interface for various solution builds, a dedicated graphics card, military-grade connectors, or storage security extension with RAID 0/1/5/10 configurations. It could also be field installed with simple and easy guidelines to become a powerful portable server or an ultimate solution for specific tasks.
