Rugged Fanless Thermal Design

A monolithic aluminum heat-sink chassis dissipates heat without moving parts. No fans means no dust ingress, less maintenance, and higher uptime. The design is tuned for continuous load in harsh conditions. Thermal margins are validated to prevent throttling under typical mission profiles.

Wide-Range Power with Ignition Control

Komodo C1 accepts 12–28 V DC and tolerates common vehicle transients. Built-in protections cover surge, over/under-voltage, and reverse polarity. Input filtering and transient suppression stabilize the rail through cranking, brownouts, and ripple, preserving uptime under load. Optional high-voltage builds extend the range to 18–60 V with load-dump tolerance aligned to ISO 7637-2 / MIL-STD-1275 profiles. The result is clean, resilient power delivery for continuous 24/7 operation in harsh mobile environments.

Sealed I/O and Ingress Protection

Front I/O uses sealed connectors to block dust and moisture. Gasketed interfaces and strain-relieved harnesses maintain integrity under vibration. Configurations support ingress protection up to IP66. The result is reliable connectivity that survives field abuse.

Mission-Grade Connectivity

Dual Gigabit Ethernet supports deterministic links and backhaul. USB-C and USB 3.x handle peripherals and service access. RS-232/422/485, CAN bus, and GPIO connect sensors and controllers directly. Optional PoE and timing/trigger pins simplify single-cable deployments. We configure only what your project needs—interfaces, pin-outs, and power options—at build time; no unnecessary hardware, cost, or complexity.

Compact Footprint, Flexible Mounting

The enclosure is small enough for tight bays and vehicle consoles. Side ears and base rails support rigid or vibration-isolated mounts. Orientation-agnostic cooling allows vertical or horizontal installation. Tool-accessible fasteners speed integration and service.

Runs Windows 11 or Linux for easy application portability. Secure boot and TPM 2.0 protect keys and the boot chain. A watchdog timer and health telemetry keep the system recoverable. Remote management hooks support fleet monitoring and updates.
